I have just been released from Colchester General Hospital after being admitted on Friday evening through A & E with a swollen arm and hand. Diagnosis was that intravenous anti biotics was required as oral a/b's had not worked and after blood tests and xrays were carried out i was admitted to Aldham ward. From the start of the process from A & E to going to Aldham ward to get a bed and then to discharge on Sunday pm the whole process was carried out in a very professional and efficient friendly manner. The staff were excellent in all the departments I had to deal with, the food was really good after all the bad press Hospitals seem to get . So many thanks to all at CGH.
