"Contraception clinic experience"

About: Locala Walk in Centre

(as the patient),

I went to the drop in contraception clinic at dewsbury, the staff here were great and the nurse helped me reach a decision about my choice of contraception. The nurse I spoke with advised me I was overdue for a smear test and did one there and then. It was my first and so naturally I was uneasy about having it. She was brilliant and made the experience as easy as possible, definitely not as scary or uncomfortable as expected! Anybody who feels uncomfortable about the idea of having a smear test - I would just say it's not as bad as you think and so so important to your health! Thank you to the staff here for being supportive and easy to talk to.
