"Excellent, efficient, kind"

My mum was very ill last night. She was unable to get her breath. My son rang for a paramedic. Whilst waiting for the paramedic we were given advice and reassurance over the phone. The paramedic was brilliant. They worked quickly and efficiently whilst reassuring my mum the whole time. They took her to hospital, we followed. The treatment at the hospital was outstanding. They did an X-ray as my mums oxygen levels were low as soon as the mask was removed. She was admitted and this morning had an Mri scan which showed she has multiple blood clots on her lungs. Without the quick thinking of the paramedic and the excellent treatment in the assessment ward I think things could have been worse. Thank you
