I was referred to the hospital by my GP with heart failure. When I was in A&E I felt the staff could have been more approachable but I do understand that they were very busy.
After A&E I was taken to ward 3E to be reviewed by the doctors and I could not have been happier with my care. The ward was extremely busy but all the staff made a huge effort to make sure I was looked after. This included nurses, porters, doctors, domestic staff... The lot!
I have to mention Staff nurse Morrison and staff nurse Grant who made every effort to make me feel at ease. They explained in great detail what my condition was and how it would be treated. I was in a 6 bedded room and all of the other patients agreed that they were well looked after.
I wanted them to know that they made me feel at ease and I could feel the compassion they had for each and every patient. Thank you. In a time where there is so many complaints for the NHS I wanted to tell everyone of my great experience.
