"Very caring, efficient and reassuring"

As an NHS patient I have been fortunate enough to have two gastroscopies here. From the member of staff I phoned to confirm my appointment to the consultation before the procedure with the friendly medic who welcomed me warmly and put me at my ease to the medical team to the doctor, I couldn't have asked for a more caring, efficient, calm and reassuring team. Staff made the effort to treat me as an individual, and the excellent nurse who took care of me during the procedure was reassuring when I wasn't coping too well and, before that, made the effort to know how I would like to be addressed. Excellent care from everyone makes such a difference to people like me who are new to procedures such as these. I count myself very lucky to have been treated here. Thanks to everyone: not a single weak link!
