About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

Delivering my son was the best experiance and with the sunderland midwife made it that way. they helped me through everything give me the best advise as not been able to have my water birth, they filled it for me and let me sit in for a while befor needing to go on a drip they made sure I was fine throught the full time of staying their and checked on my baby and made sure he was well, would total recommend this hospital as it was fantastic midwife during night who was brilliant and made me feel comfortable while I was staying after birth my room was tided and cleaned straight away, such a good experiance with the sunderland hospital team , thankyou !!

Firstly, congratulations on the birth of your son. I hope that you are both doing well and enjoying what must be a very special time for the whole family. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience and for your very kind words. We will share your comments with all the staff in the Maternity Unit and we know it will mean so much to each one of them that your experience has been one in which you felt truly supported and cared for. The team work really hard to ensure are our mums-to-be and their families are looked after well and we are extremely proud of them and the service they deliver. Thank you once again.
