I had to go to A & E on 24/4/15 after having a tonsillectomy in the morning and being discharged, my throat started heavily bleeding in the night, i went straight to hospital as advised, i was advised a 1 hour wait, and someone would come along with painkillers. I waited 2 and a half hours for painkillers and reminding the staff three times, and saw a doctor after nearly four hours, which was useless. The reception staff were rude, and looking up recipes on there screens, and being blunt. The person who was meant to be cleaning did nothing more than sweep the rubbish to the corners. There was one nurse, in comparison to the 4 security guards who ordered pizza a we heard watching a film. This was beyond appealing. I was disgusted with the whole experience and just felt like a burden on the staff.
