Visited a&e with child who had previously visited after a fall. The doctor on the first occasion was lovely, thorough and advised us to come back if child was in more pain as they felt their injury would hopefully heal on its own. Took child back as they were crying in pain, triage nurse was lovely and said they definitely ought to see a doctor as they could see the injury. However after waiting another two hours we were seen by a very rude doctor who said "you've been here before what exactly do you want me to do?!" After explaining we had been told to return they continued with the rude tone and said " it's going to hurt there's nothing I can do I don't know why you came". Left feeling humiliated and disgusted at the way we had been spoken to. Amazing how two visits to the same department can be so different because of one very rude person.
