"gallbladder removed in a fantastic hospital and..."

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

I had my gallbladder removed on Thursday very happy with the care and treatment I received. Everyone involved was professional and helpful thanks to the consultant their team and general Anaesthetic team. The only downside as far as Im concerned was the waiting time, I was referred to hospital in November and I had my surgery on 23rd April. Thank You :)

Many thanks for your comments which I have passed to the surgical team. Apologies for the wait that you had before you had your surgery. Due to the demand on the sirgical team and the need to prioritise urgent cancer patients, the wait for routine surgery can be between 4 to 6 months. The surgical directorate team are currently looking at ways that this can be reduced. Kind regards Patient Experience Manager
