"Staff were attentive and helpful ..."

About: Royal Sussex County Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Staff were attentive and helpful when we phoned from car park queue to explain that we were delayed

What could be improved

Carpark - we spent 1 hour in the car park queue. I asked the supervisor if there were any disabled spaces available as had 85 yr old woman in my car, he rudely said no and you will have to wait. When we eventually got in there were 5 free spaces in disabled area.

Anything else?

Would it be possible to improve the service bearing in mind physical condition and age of patients having to park? perhaps upon production of disabled badge.

We are sorry that you didn't receive a courteous reply to your enquiry about disabled parking spaces. Your comments and suggestions have been forwarded to the department that oversees car parking at the hospital.
