"They took her to hospital and couldn’t have taken more care"

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a service user),

Two paramedics from the ambulance service attended to my wife when she was poorly.

Tim and Adam were excellent. They handled my wife very well, especially as she was in a bad way. Before we called the ambulance, a doctor had checked her over and said she needed to go to hospital due to kidney problems as a result of her diabetes.

They took her to hospital and couldn’t have taken more care. They kept the mood light and not too serious, whilst caring very well.

Dear Civil899

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I hope your wife is feeling much better now.

It is always rewarding to hear that our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to our patients when they need us most.

I would like to pass your kind comments onto Tim and Adam, the ambulance crew who came to your aid. Would you be able to contact me, laura.martin@swast.nhs.uk or call 01392 453831, at your convenience, with the date and address that the ambulance attended? This would allow me to identify the staff involved and ensure they are recognised for the care they gave.

Please quote your Patient Opinion user name Civil899 in your contact.

Thank you again for providing feedback on our service.

Kind regards

Laura
