About: Hinchingbrooke Hospital

The worst hospital experience of my life! It took almost 48 hours and constant "we'll give it a couple more hours" before being rushed into surgery under General anaesthetic for emergency C section. After being out for almost 2 hours my partner finally got to see me after many debates with nurses and doctors. 3 hours after delivery I finally got to see and hold my baby. The staff were rude, arrogant and explained nothing about what was happening or had happened during surgery. I was unable to leave for days due to "tests" on my baby and waiting on the results from addenbrookes. Again nothing was ever explained beyond short stroppy answers from the staff. This was my first child and this hospital helped make it the worst experience of my life.
