"Rainworth baby clinic"

About: Sherwood West Children's Centre

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I went to the baby clinic at Rainworth Children's Centre for the first time on 10th March 2015.

I found the room quite hot and had to wait about half an hour as there were 5 more babies waiting. Didn't realise he would be weighed in the toilet - maybe not the best space.

I understand it's a good opportunity to speak to the Health Visitor, but this would be quite time consuming with just one Health Visitor if everyone wanted a chat.

Dear parent

Thankyou for your post and I can only apologise for your experience at the baby clinic. From next week weighing will not take place in the toilet area and another room will be available for private discussion with the Health Visitor.

I will also take up with the Health Visitors manager the issue of waiting too long and the effect of only having one Health visitor in clinic.
