"Excellent Care in A & E. Friday am 17 th April..."

I had asthma and was seen immediately and taken into resus. I was not asked a hundred questions which I appreciated because the last thing you want to do when you can't breath is to talk. I was give nebulisers straight away and bloods were taken to go to the lab. The consultant I saw was one of the kindest and efficient I have ever seen and I have seen a lot of doctors over the years as I've had asthma all my life. I simply cannot believe how good the consultant was to me. I used to be a nurse before having to give up due to ill health and so I can judge from both ' both sides of the fence ' so to speak. The consultant was wonderful and compassionate, thats all I can say. When you feel really ill and vulnerable that is exactly what you want.
