"TVT operation and 2 night stay"

About: Tameside General Hospital

The operation went very well with the care and support of the staff being fantastic. I can not find anything bad to say about the hospital apart from the length of time taken to dispense medication once discharged. I was moved from my bed to a waiting room whilst they ordered my meds. Over an hour later I was still waiting. Due to the nature of my operation sitting was painful so I had to stand.

’Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed.
