No one can really prepare themselves for what's at the end of the road but with the help of John Taylor Hospice's collective support and love, it softened the blow a whole lot better than it could have been.
From all of mum's kids - we would like to thank the staff so much for the part you all played in looking after our mother. You gave her the kind of care and love that she'd give us when we were ill as kids, except that we were a little bit more annoying compared to our mother. You all have a huge amount of patience which is a credit to the effort you continue to put in when you were looking after her and the rest of the patients at the hospice too. The warmth of your hearts wasn't just felt by our mother because it was also felt by us and our father too, so thank you for showing that care and concern as it made a difference.
From her husband - an extra special thank you to you all for looking after my angel and allowing her to go in such a peaceful way. I know she touched all your hearts in the time you spent with her as she was seen by you all like a second family in the time she was there. She was a fighter and you were all there to support her through her last battle.
You all did so much, through the bigger and smaller actions, they all made a difference to every single one of us. You're all an inspiration to us.
Thank you John Taylor Hospice.
