"very poor care received"

About: Royal Free Hospital

My 73 year old dad has been in and out of this hospital for some time and whilst he is showed much care and attention at all his out patient appointments, it has been a different case when he is admiited. He is very frail with complicatoons of diabetes and vascular and a cancer survivor. He has been awaiting surgery for four days and on each occasion being lied to and treated with a lack of dignity. He is told not yo eat eavh morning because they might do his surgery and often left for 12 hours or more only on a sliding scale to monitor his diabetes. The stress has made his condition and mood por as well as the lack of nutrition. Something needs to be addressed.

Hi there, sorry to hear you are unhappy. We would like to look into this further - please can you email rf.communications@nhs.net with details so we can pick this up with the vascular team? Thank you.
