After being treated and mistreated at Royal Derby, I was sent to Belper for rehab. The patients were mostly getting better so were happy, The staff were happy and approachable, the food was good and the rabbits outside provided amusement. What could be better? The hospital only has a part time GP for medical advice and the doctor found out the cause of my problem (lack of vitamin D) which was beyond the capability of Derby with all their modern equipment. There was a false fire alarm which went on for a long time as no-one knew how to turn it off. Was this the responsibility of the fire brigade?
