"day surgery"

I attended Chase Farm for a wire guided breast excision as a day surgery case. Staff were friendly and helpful on the day unit and even more so on the Wellington ward, where I was placed after the operation. Nurses on the ward were attentive and caring and the standard of cleanliness was excellent. The food was also very good. I was nervous to be admitted both due to the nature of the surgery and the hospital, as my previous experiences at Chase Farm had not been overwhelmingly positive, however this time was overall very good indeed.
