"extremely unhappy would not ho there again"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

I was admitted via meddoc with a temperature of 38.7 I had no blood cultures and was told I had kidney stones.I had one scan which showed I had no kidney stones so was discharged home.nobody listened to the fact I didn't feel well and this was the first time I had ever been to hospital in my 27 years and would not go if I did not have to.they made me feel I was faking it and pushed me out.I barely saw a nurse the entire day.I had to ask for water the care was substandard, I felt there was no compassion, no communication and no care.I would not let my friends and family go there. On a side note I was so ill.I then had to be rushed to another hospital the same day, as I refused to go back to Medway, with a temperature of 39.3 was put on iv antibiotics and cared for excellently.

I am sorry that the care you received was not of the standard that it should have been. I would like to look into what happened but will need more information from you. Please could you email me on zoe.andrews@medway.nhs.uk Kind regards Zoe Andrews Matron Surgery
