"Cancelled Appointments, Last Minute."

About: Dewsbury & District Hospital

Got home from work last night to a letter stating that my treatment from the pain management service had been cancelled. My appointment was meant to be Monday 20th April and this was meant to be an urgent appointment as had already been forgotten about, as had to chase to get a follow up appointment which i usuaully have 3 months after treatment. My last treatment was in June and after lots of chasing and apologises i got an appointment in January. this has not meant i have missed a treatment as should have had treatment december as these injections are every 6 months. this department use to be good but has gone downhill rapidly over the years. i have been visiting this department for over 5 years. the service i am getting is appalling and well below par. Have spent the morning chasing people and unable to get through to speak to anyone with regards this cancelled appointment. It's a disgrace that I am left to suffer like this. No one should be ever be left in so much pain!
