"Did wrong tests"

About: Weston General Hospital

The haematology department failed to read what my specialist wanted them to check and as a result the wrong tests were carried out on my blood sample so I have had to go through another blood test, for which I am already anaemic, and endure another week of waiting for results to see if I'm optimal. Not good enough

We'd like to offer our sincere apologies for the issues you've experienced with us and we have spoken to the staff concerned to make them aware of the need to make sure the correct tests are carried out at all times. If you would like to discuss this further then please email our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on wnt-tr.pals@nhs.net or call 01934 647216.
