"Contacting Cardiothorasic Centre"

About: Basildon University Hospital

I have been sent from Princess Alexandra Hospital to have an angiogram on Saturday and was told I would be contacted by Basildon Hospital as to the time. As I have a disabled wife and have to arrange for a carer to come in and transportation for myself this is something that I need to know. Four times I have telephoned and put through only to be cut off or left hanging on. I tried to explain this on the third occasion, but was cut off in mid sentence. A very poor and rude showing by your staff. A polite, but quick, we will phone you back or an explanation would have cost them nothing.
