About: Stroud General Hospital

Fell over, split lip, shocked. Arrived 6pm. Receptionist welcoming, kind. Saw nurse within 5 minutes. Took time and real care to assess. Asked other nurses for their opinion. Phoned GRH for advice, prepared paperwork and within 30 minutes sent me on my way. At all times the staff were really lovely and reassuring. The atmosphere was calm and efficient, caring and kind. We cannot thank them enough. GRH max/fac department were waiting for me and saw me within five minutes. I know that timing is everything but Stroud A&E was wonderful on Saturday evening!
