"Cancer patient"

About: The James Cook University Hospital

My mum was admitted to the stroke unit jan 15 th 20015 ? Stroke. Head scan 16 th showed 2 patches in the brain. The dr explained very aggressively that it was cancer due to your life style.look, look, they said this is cancer & left. Body scan 28 th showed area in the lung, we had to chase results.20th February liver biopsy performed, we waited 2 weeks for result. 9th march pet scan performed, 13th march care transformed to another dr. 25th march appointment finally seen by chemo oncologist. Radiotherapy to be performed so finally seen by radiologist 8th April. This dr not at all sympathetic explaining that mum to ill & that treatment could be given but the outcome is inevitable. Care & compassion do not exists within these working in the James Cook hospital.we are now on day 84 & have received no treatment. A appointment for radiotherapy has been verbally set for next wed, but mum was informed that it may be cancelled.my mum is 71 just & has 6 grandchildren the youngest is 4 yrs old.
