"training issues"

About: Whiston Hospital / Maternity care

(as a parent/guardian),

Found the nurses we mett on e2 Whiston Hospital over the period in April 2015 to be rude patronising and generally unprofessional in the way that my daughter and I were treated. Dignity issues were not considered nor was patient option or person centred care. Which left my daughter embarrassed frustrated and generally isolated. It left me unable to support her and I left the hospital distemper red and very tearful. I would urgently suggest reviewing your policies and procedures and prioritising training issues for some of the clinicians.

Overall however the student nurses had a real grasp of dignity and person centred care
