About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Maternity unit

(as the patient),

I developed chronic itching in my 32nd week of pregnancy. I mentioned this at my regular community midwife appt and she didn't hesitate taking blood to arrange a liver function test for obstetric cholestasis.

From then until the birth of my daughter at 37 weeks, I was looked after by the midwives at the Daycare Unit at FVRH.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.

It is good to hear that staff were able to give prompt and appropriate care which you needed at 32 weeks and also the subsequent follow-on care.

I will pass on your comments to the Midwifery and Day Care teams.

Thanks Gail! I hadn't used this before, what I also wanted to add was that all the midwives who helped me at Daycare and the Poppy Team were lovely, caring, friendly and really set my mind at ease. Thanks again!!
