"Lumbar puncture"

About: Pinderfields General Hospital

Needed a lumbar puncture for my head pressure monitored. After several attempts, after reading it should have been a maximum of 2, I was in so much pain but they continued disregarding my obvious pain. Nearly 2 hours later, told to rest. Then another hour of poking a needle around in my back. I later found out that I could have had a scan to help locate a site better but this was not offered. I now suffer from severe lower back pain and nerve damage in my right leg. All it would have took was a scan. Stop doing things on the quick and do things properly.
