I hope this is the correct vehicle for comments about the Rapid Response Team.
In April my aunt visited her GP Dr Sheikh at The Poplars, Erdington. He suspected a DVT and I'm pleased to say referred her immediately to Rapid Response.
The nurse who arrived a few hours later at much aunt's house was delightful. I believe her name is Trika (not sure of the spelling). She was calm, cheerful, professional and reassuring.
Two days later my aunt went to Good Hope hospital for a scan and ended up in Ambulatory Care. She did have a wait of several hours however the staff in this department were excellent.
I'd like to thank the GP, Trika (Rapid Response) and the staff on Ambulatory Care for their help.
