"Praise of Your Excellent Nursing Staff"

On Saturday 28th March, 2015 I was admitted to Ward 10 at your hospital from A&E after suffering uncontrollable pain and difficulty with a catheter that had been inserted following a urinary procedure on the Wednesday before. Having lived in Surrey for the last forty years I was concerned that when we moved up to Cheshire we would be subject to the poor hospital care in the North West of England based on the recent controversial publicity in respect of hospitals such as Stafford. I couldn’t be more wrong about Leighton. Your nursing staff that looked after me in Ward 10 at Leighton are second to none in delivering exceptional care to my co patients and myself. They worked relentlessly from the time they arrived on shift to the time they left, always with a smile and with a focus on patient care. I particularly would like to applaud the care I received from my nurse. I would be grateful if you would let Ward 10 know how grateful I am for all they did for me. Keep it up your great!
