"Praise for the whole team on ward 12"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Respiratory medicine

(as the patient),

I was admitted to hospital with pneumothorax. I am a COPD (Emphysema sufferer). My lung was re-inflateted with a chest drain but I was an inpatient at the hospital for 19 days as that's how long it took it to repair.

But this is about the staff of that ward from the cleaners all the way to the consultants, they do a fantastic job and work in perfect unison and nothing is too much bother to them.

I have nothing but admniration and praise for the whole team.

Thank you so much for this lovely posting, your comments are very welcome It is great you had such a positive experience during such a lengthy admisssion. I have forwarded your comments to the Senior Charge Nurse on Ward 12, in order for her to share them with all the staff from cleaners to consultants who make such a vital contribution to the team on ward 12
