"I want my life back!"

I was admitted to hospital (after going to a and e three times and being brushed off with explanations that my blood tests were fine) I was in for just over a week, various tests were carried out and they finally diagnosed me with a type of epilepsy, I was given medication and told this would stop the fits I was having and then I was discharged. Well the medication did not stop the fits and when I contacted my doctor they told me I had to get in touch with the neurologist for any medication change, so I did.. first of all they told me they hadn't got my notes and to contact the ward myself which I did and they were very helpful and sent them over.. to Urology so when I called neurology back they still didn't know who I was.. I then called for the next three days either leaving voicemails to which I never got a reply or talking to the less than helpful secretary who brushes it off saying the neurologist will get back to me when they get back to me. I am still having fits daily and I am unable to do anything now. All I want is some advice and reassurance but i'm not getting it from Colchester hospital!
