"Visit for Chest X-ray"

Was told to go for X-ray by G.P. At Witney Hospital. Looked at opening times, which was 10.30 am. for today. Arrived just after 10 a.m. and was given card No 3. Within 10 minutes was called to go in, lovely welcoming smile and helpful, kind attitude. Out in a matter of minutes and back in my car by 10.30 am. and on my way back to Burford. What an amazing service at Witney Hospital! Thank you. Imagine the alternative which would be driving up the dreadful A40 to JR for this service, the waiting, the cost of fuel and worry that i would be queuing for at least an hour on the A40 , then finding a car parking space and cost. All that time lost. It is a 50 mile turnaround journey for us from Burford to JR along a murderous road. So thank goodness we have our little hospital with such great efficient staff, looking so clean and smelling so fresh in there. We are so very grateful for this kind of service. NHS at it's best in Witney!!
