What I liked
I have been a patient at SMH since 2005 and even though I contracted MRSA twice I am happy that I was treated at SMH instead of L&D or MKGH.
My plastic surgeon is undeniably one of the best consultants in his field and his junior and the nurses on the plastics & burns wards as well as the Plastics Dressings clinics are ultimare professionsals.
The Podiatry and Surgical Appliances teams are all excellent
What could be improved
Cleanliness in the older parts of the hospital does leave a lot to be desired and both the new blocks are VERY VERY hot in summer as they are not air conditioned but merely air recylcled.
Anything else?
Good hospital, excellent doctors and nurses
