"Waiting time for my operation"

About: University Hospital Lewisham / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I have now waited over 6 months for my gynae surgery when I was told I would have my operation within one to three months. It is shocking to the extreme that no-one from the hospital has contacted me personally in any of that time to tell me why, or when I will have my much needed surgery despite the NHS Guidelines insisting surgery should be undertaken within 18 weeks of referral. Disgraceful.
