"Nothing whatsoever"

About: Bristol Royal Infirmary

(as a relative),

What I liked

Nothing whatsoever

What could be improved

Instead of the nurses sat in the corridor they need to be in the rooms where the patients are so if anyone were to call out they would hear them!!!!

Anything else?

I visited my Nan in hospital tonight because she has had a stroke, and the way the nurses are treating the patients is absolutely discusting. My nan is one of 5 people in a room, the nurses are outside in the corridor so if anyone within the room called out for help the nurses wouldnt even hear them as the door is constantly closed. I seen an incident tonight the lady in the next bed to my nan wanted to get out and use the toilet, so she got out of bed and she has a drip in her arm, as she walked off to use the loo the drip nearly fell on her head and the nurses werent even bothered about it, it was the visitors in the room that actually helped the lady and NOT the nurses. Thats absolutely discusting if the drip did fall on her head it could of knocked her out because the lady is so frail. Absolutely discusting. My nan was admitted to hospital on tuesday due to her stoke, she wanted to use the toilet in the middle of the night and the nurses didnt even help her so she was left to wee in the bed, nobody changed her PJ's it wasnt until her daughter got in there the next morning when she was changed. I'm sorry but you wouldnt leave a baby or even a dog like it so why in the hell would you leave an elderly person like it!!!!!
