"FORDWICH WARD"

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital

Staff not interested , rude , and an excuse for everything .no communication with patients , tutting when assistance is required , loosing personal belongings and just fobbing off with lame excuses. Not waking elderly frail patients at meal times to assist with food , and when they are asked if they could be provided with something to be told sorry we cannot heat anything up and it's been taken away! Water jugs and glasses empty , or as my uncle told me "left just far enough away so he can't reach it "" in his words " this place is like a form of torture" nails long and full of muck ,call bell never in reach I could go on but as usual nothing is done , female placed in same ward , men left laying in bed with nothing covering their dignity and staff just walking past , we visit 3 times a day just to ensure he eats and drinks ( the food we provide) otherwise he would starve! What is wrong with people ? Is absolutely disgusting , just because these people are elderly and unwell it allows these so call trained staff to treat people like dirt? Something needs to be done and now!
