"wrong diagnosis"

About: Heartlands Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a relative),

My hubby had fell and injured his lower back. Admitted to Heartlands, put in the amu and then ward 20. Scanned him and said he had soft tissue injury. He went home in agony. Was admitted again due to oxygen levels. Nothing was mentioned about his back. Before Easter, I rang 999 cause he was still in horrific pain. They actually did an x-ray on his back to find 3 fractures on his spine.

Dear Juleywuley

Thank you for your post regarding your husband's treatment at Heartlands Hospital.

I am very sorry to read of the difficulties your husband has encountered and would very much like the opportunity to speak with you directly about this in more detail.

Can I please ask you to contact me either by telephone on 0121 424 0808 or by email:

marie.helebert@heartofengland.nhs.uk at your convenience.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards

Marie Helebert
