"Excellent service, thank you!"

Following a serious accident on her horse over the bank holiday my wife was admitted to Northampton General. Within 4hrs of her accident (in a remote field) she had been admitted to A&E, assessed and transferred to surgery. she then spent a comfortable night on the ward. Throughout the whole ordeal the staff were excellent, friendly and as quick as could be expected, if not quicker. The care received throughout was superb, and even I was offered a cup of tea whilst waiting. I have complete faith in our wonderful NHS, and this very serious and stressful event has only furthered my confidence and respect for the wonderful people who dedicate their lives to working in the NHS. Thank you. Please let us stop putting the NHS down, it is one of, if not, the best Health Services in the world. I have lived in the US and our system makes a mockery of their system.
