"total lack of communication!"

About: Homerton University Hospital

I've just been for a diagnostic check for an abdomenal issue and after the (trainee it would appear) doctor had completed the process they couldn't get out of the door fast enough! Even when I attempted to ask them a question they were trying to walk away! Good service; and effective and efficient work in any situation (particularly when it's a complex multi agency system) requires good communication. I'm now going to hassle my GP because I'm really not reassured that thing are actually in hand. And this is all because of poor communication. Please teach your doctor s and nurses to explain what's going on. Otherwise you'll just end up having to do twice as much work at each patient touch point!
