"Endoscopy Unit"

I had to have a Gastroscopy this morning. The first patient booked in... I was very anxious about this and the staff were amazing. The process was fantastic - A nice waiting room, then a briefing and initial questions with a nurse, then into the theatre where the doctor and nurses were really friendly and supportive. during the procedure the nurse and doctor were telling me exactly what was happening and were reassuring and understanding. Then a short break with a tea or coffee to make sure I was feeling ok afterwards. Also an aftercare and helpline leaflet received when I left. Really, really impressed with the Endoscopy unit! :-)
