"Fantastic team of staff assisted safe delivery of..."

Went into labour on 2nd march 2015 and I can't praise this hospital enough! The midwives on the ward were very attentive and caring. Although I wasn't dilated a enough at first and got sent home, the team of midwives were very supportive with this. As I arrived at the hospital, I was cared for by a fantastic midwife. They were with me and my partner throughout the labour and delivery. Their positive, professional approach made me feel relaxed and comfortable. The team of doctors, and student midwives were amazing and towards the end, my labour was slightly complicated however, thanks to this team of staff, my beautiful son arrived safe on 3rd march. I have them to thank for this. Before my labour, I had heard some negative comments about sunderland maternity ward. My experience was very positive and I felt that the care throughout, including the aftercare, was excellent. A lovely hospital, a lovely staff team and amazing support throughout my pregnancy, labour and after my birth! I can't thank them enough! Especially our midwife! Thank you and keep up the good work!
