"Terrible"

About: Rosie Hospital

They are a shambles. When my wife's waters broke we called and were told to rush in. We did and waited 2 hours to be seen, only to be told to go home. We were told to call again in 24 hours for an induction. But 40 hours later, they still had no hope of a bed for us. Fortunately, my wife had gone into labour at this point so they were forced to see us. But only after an hour of persuasion. When they agreed to check her out she was 8cm dilated and gave birth within the hour. If the Rosie had had their way, she would have given birth in the street. However, the saga continued as due to the lack of inducing the labour, baby has now got an infection and gone to critical care. We don't know if he'll cope. I don't know why the Rosie's slow and cruel service is the way it is. The PALS was closed for Easter.
