"The Good and the Bad."

About: Southampton General Hospital

Diagnosis and Testing were first class but did notice that a lot of the equipment was getting very dated. Night pain management was appaling. Acute Surgical and GI WardE5 . There was no schedule of pain killer during the night causing myself ( and the rest of the ward considerable distress). Pain medication took nearly an hour to be administered by the ambulance staff. There was an eight hour delay in the undating the "solids" restriction causing considerable and unneccessary distress despite repeated requests for the status update. Consultant feedback on diagnosis and ongoing care management completely insufficient.
