"Poor service"

About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital

I am writing on behalf of my wife: Her operation was canceled in the last minute. She waited 6 hours in the hospital and the doctor told her that the previous operation was so long they need to cancel my operation. She could not make booking as the reception was already closed. She was told they might send the letter in future. I understand the hospital operates overbooks the time slots available for the operation. I am aware of the cuts but I learnt that other hospitals like Salisbury District Hospital are fully staffed and they do not cancel the operation once the patient is waiting in the ward.
