After spending thousand's for corrective surgery, I honestly could not be more disappointed with the Harpenden Spire. To begin, I had to wait outside my room in the corridor whilst maintenance finished working, only to be met with blood on the floor and surgical tape still stuck over my bed. I overlooked these matters possibly due to nerves and was reassured after a pre op chat with my surgeon put my mind at ease. After surgery was an entirely different matter, obviously no communication between staff as nurse "helping" me had no idea I had drains in and even pulled them adjusting my sheets, Ive never cried so much. Don't even get me started on the food, I have special dietary needs which were discussed with chef before admission, nothing was available for me when I needed it, not even soya milk for a cup of tea. I was even told by a member of the kitchen team that these errors were simply due to a breakdown of communication between nationalities, what a joke at my health's expense, I could go on but will be writing to senior management as with only two exceptions, staff were like uncaring trainees. In short, avoid Harpenden Spire like the plague.
