About: Leicester General Hospital

i came for a mri scan last april /may 2014. i have heard nothing from the drs, consultant regarding the outcome.just a simple phone call or a letter to let you know .but then again i have been treated like this before by the same dr. i had to arrange my own MRI scan which i did not mind doing but a courtesy call or letter, to let me know results and weather i had been discharged or not .

Dear reviewer, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, although we are disappointed to hear it’s not a positive one. It is very unusual for scan/test results not to be shared with our patients, whether that be up follow up appointment, letter or their own GP. As you have posted this anonymously, it would be difficult for us to investigate this further without more detail so ask that you please contact Service Manager, Jodie on 0116 258 6079 or email jodie.bale@uhl-tr.nhs.uk with your name, DOB and address so she can look to resolve this for you. Best wishes Communications Team Leicester’s Hospitals
