"Eyecare Centre Orthoptic Department Leighton Hospital Crewe"

About: Leighton Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

Last October I suffered from serious double vision and after visits to my GP and to a local optician's I was sent to Leighton Hospital.

There I was quickly examined by a doctor who put my mind at ease and made an appointment for me in The Orthoptic Department.

I was seen very quickly and after several tests was provided with prisms for my glasses.

These made a huge difference to my being able to read and helped my longer sight.

Since then I have had regular check-ups when my progress was carefully monitored and recorded.

The staff were excellent - competent and extremely friendly. They were very good at explaining everything and on each visit they changed the prisms to my benefit.

My eyesight started to improve after a couple of months as the staff responded to the changes in my sight.

I am now almost back to my previous condition of good sight with no double vision at all.

I was seen by the consultant who was very interesting and explained things very well to both me and my wife.

I could not have been treated better and would like to thank all the staff involved-

the two Sarahs and especially Emily who saw me the most and was extremely friendly and brilliant at putting us at ease.

Many Thanks
