"Positive feedback"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Maternity unit

(as the patient),

I would like to thank the staff in ward 7 for looking after me and my baby boy Leo. I had to have an emergency section because Leo was becoming distressed. I was looked after by midwife bobi to begin with then when I went to theatre midwife Toni who was so good with me and my partner in theatre and when I got back to my room.

I wanted to breastfeed even though it was busy Toni took the time to help me do this and show my partner what to look for when Leo was feeding. There is alot of negative feedback therefore I just wanted to give these hard working people some positive feedback. Thank you again Toni and Bobi for everything you have done for me.

Congratulations on the birth of baby Leo and many thanks for taking time to post your comments at what must be a very busy time for you and your partner!

It is great to hear that Bobi and Toni were caring and supportive especially at what would have been an anxious time for you going to theatre.

I hope the breast feeding continues to go well and that you are still getting any support needed.

I will ensure ward 7, Bobi and Toni get a copy of your posting.

With best wishes to you, your partner and wee baby Leo.

Gail
