How kind the staff were, and how swiftly I was seen too.

What could be improved

It would have been nice to have had the emergency scan on the same day, but fully understand that my case was rightly determined to be non-urgent. However, we were left with an anxious 48 hour wait between A&E visit and scan.

Anything else?

I arrived at A&E early AM on a Sat morning for a suspected miscarriage. All staff, from reception and triage nurse to doctors and midwife, were very professional, kind, honest and helpful. They gave me all the information I needed and were reassuring, especially given the difficult nature of suspected miscarriage.

I was given a scan on the Monday and both doctor and midwife in the early pregnancy unit were excellent; providing all necessary information and treating me respectfully.

The course of action taken was appropriate from start to finish, and thankfully I had a good outcome.
